Seeing Yourself

By peace | April 15, 2006

When you look at your friends strive to see yourself in them, said the master to his disciple.

“But, is that not a selfish attitude?” questioned the disciple. If we worry for ourselves we never see what good others have to offer.

“Perhaps always we would get to see the good things that are around us “answered the master “but when we look at a fellowman we only looking for defects. We try to find something evil, because we wish he be worst than us. We never forgive him if he hurts us because we believe he would never forgive us. We manage to hurt him with harsh words affirming we are telling the truth, when barely we are trying to hide it from ourselves. We feign we are important so nobody can see our frailty. That is why every time you are judging your bother be aware you are the one at the tribunal.”
