The Kid And The Piping Wolf
By peace | June 10, 2006
A kid who had strayed from his flock was pursued by a wolf. Seeing that he could not escape, he turned round, and said to the wolf,” Mr Wolf, please stop and listen to me. Mr Wolf, I’ll definitely become your food. But please don’t let me die a pitiful death. Please play the flute and let me dance for you.”
So, the wolf played the flute and the kid began to dance. The sound of the flute attracted many dogs. The dogs chased the wolf away.
Turning to the kid, the wolf said,” Serves me right. I came for meat, and shouldn’t be playing the flute.“
