Storage Place
By peace | May 5, 2007

Finding a good place to store our things is very important. Not only must we be able to retrieve our things back easily, we also want our things to be ’safe’ when stored at a certain place. Able to store our things in a proper place and knowing that our things or information are stored in a safe place give us peace of mind — when we need it, we can get it.
Everyday we need to store information — medical records, personal data, families information, friends particulars, addresses, photographs, videos and so on. For working people, more things need to be recorded and stored. Many years ago, we used to store information in books, record most of the things in books. However, nowadays, as technology is more advance, more people are using computers. More people use the computer to store their information as documents such as Words, Powerpoints presentation and so on.
Years back when I was working, I also need to store information. Not only do I need to store families information, I need to store information about my clients, their policies, their address, telephone numbers etc. I also need to store business documents such as powerpoint presentation as regards to insurance. Whenever I have new ideas, I will store them in a file in the computer. Storing information like that is easy, but there is a problem. When my computer ran out of memory or at times where the computer has virus (which occurred to me once), I have to reformat the whole computer and all the information being stored was gone. After that incident, I am always scared of storing my information just in my computer alone. I always have backups. I will store my files in external disk spaces too.
