Garden Of Sorrows

By peace | May 9, 2007

The world is so full of care and sorrow that it is a gracious debt we owe to one another to discover the bright crystals of delight hidden in somber circumstances and irksome tasks.
~ Helen Keller

Today I visited Garden of Sorrows by chance. Somehow I feel that God is leading me. He is with me perhaps. Garden of Sorrows is a peaceful place — very quiet and serene.

The moment I step in to Garden of Sorrow, I feel relief. I feel so relax and at peace. It was said that the rain could wash away my sorrows.

There were no one else at the Garden of Sorrows except for two cute animals, a bunny and a deer. I feel as though I am in paradise for a moment.

I am tired, I take a seat.

There are many willow trees and the surrounding is very gloomy. It is a real place for you to immerse in your sorrows, to ponder all your thoughts and problems.

Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls. ~ Edwin Hubbel Chapin

At Garden of Sorrows, I have experienced peace. Peace is the feeling where you are in equilibrium with the environment. It is the moment where you can feel as though you are ‘merged’ with your surrounding and you are part of the surrounding — You are not the odd one out. You are part of the nature. You are totally at ease. For once, I do not need to carry a ‘heavy’ heart with me when I am in Garden of Sorrows.
