Good Health

Do you know that your health is very important? Your physical health is important for your well-being and happiness. There is a saying “He who has health has hope, he who has hope has everything.”
To stay healthy is to look after yourself physically, emotionally and spiritually, to give yourself what you need, to notice and act on the sighs when something sis wrong and to address the problem. If you have personality traits, characteristics or life experiences which leave you feeling unhappy or uncomfortable, then you are out of balance in one of these areas. You will only have true health when you address the fears, unmet needs and unresolved emotions in your life.
It is important to eat good food, to get enough sleep and to use your body physically. Take the time to exercise, eat and have enough sleep. Avoid chemicals, drugs and processed food. Take regular exercise that you enjoy, and create a sense of safety and comfort in the room where you sleep. All these are vital, but there is far more to genuine good health. All injury and illness is created by what is going on in our lives, and by our feelings. When your body is hurt or sick, it is trying to tell you something. Treat the illness or injury on the surface, but listen to the underlying message too. If you do not do this, you will attract the same problem again, for your body is the physical manifestation of your personality.
Look at what may be behind any ill health that you have. Do you need to slow down and rest more? Are you shouldering too many burdens or doing back-breaking work? Is there something you can’t stomach or which is making you sick? What is proving difficult to handle? What are the things that you cannot face? Or are you being inflexible, stiff-necked and stubborn about something? Trust your own instinct about what is going on and begin to change whatever is not working in your life. As your feelings of anxiety, pressure, fear, worry, or anger disappear, so will your bad health.
Support good health by taking responsibility for it and going to practitioners who treat the root causes as well as the surface symptoms. Do not put up with being dismissed or belittled. Know that you are your own best healer and the best judge of what you need. Create laughter and fun in your life — they are the best healers of all.
Good health is possible no matter how much illness or injury you have suffered. Believe that you can be as well and as healthy as you want to be, and fill your life with joy!
