Achieve Happiness

There are times when we all take life for granted, and then we have an unforgettable experience that draws us back into the feeling of gratitude for the good that comes our way. We need to go back again to express our thankful heart.
Happiness is an ecstasy that we all strive for, and yet it so often eludes us because our minds and bodies are racing ahead to tomorrow instead of enjoying today.
People spend so much time making the journey to happiness that they fail to realize it is the journey itself that is happiness. The frustration of working so hard to achieve happiness can be a major reason for stress taking over our lives.
Stop when your life is encumbered with stress. Breathe deeply to oxygenate every cell in your body. Look to change your view and find what stands in the way of happiness. Listen to the message that suggests that maybe you are looking in the wrong place.
All of us travel many paths in life searching for happiness. Most often we are searching for it outside ourselves. Allow yourself the freedom of living in the present moment. Realize that the centre of happiness comes from inside you and nourishes how you feel about yourself. See and appreciate all the beauty and kindness that come to you and what you can give to others. There appears the soft touch of the beat of life radiating from within. You can find it in the centre of who you are. Here reside peace, fulfilling energy and ultimately happiness. The gift you give yourself is very precious. You can carry it with you whenever you go. May the light of happiness be with you.
