Who Is God

This is just a human depiction of God, the Holy Spirit as a Dove, the symbol of Peace. God has no physical body and God has no age. God is eternal and it is something beyond the naked eyes can see.
From having little knowledge of God, and not knowing what God is all about, I had come to some understanding finally, all inspired by God — no wonder the Bible can be made possible. No wonder people can go round preaching His words and His works. No wonder there are prophecies. It is all the making of God.
This is what I personally had encountered and my understanding of God is all based on my own experience, observation and understanding through my life and from what I had learned from my church. This is a topic in Helium and I have submitted this:
Who is God
Who is God? This is question a lot of people asked and it is a mystery. Have anyone really see God? I have not seen God before nor hear his voice. However, we often heard about God’s work. A lot of people had said Jesus Christ is God. This is not true. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus Christ is just a normal person like anyone of us, but he was the chosen one by God, to be his Son, and he had died for mankind, to save the earth.
To me, God is a Holy Spirit, something which we had studied in the church, in the catechism class for the Catholics. God is an almighty being, something which even scientist and advanced researcher had no answers or ways to find out about him. God is something which we can hardly see, but it is there — just like the air around us and the wind that blown on us.
So God is just a spirit. Where is God? There is no need to go far away places to search for God. There is no need to travel to the East or to the West. There is no need to look far away in search of God. Very often, many people have overlooked what is in front of them, what is very near to them. God is just in the heart of everyone of the people in this world. Is it everyone? The potential is there. It is present in everyone and there is only one God in this world. The God that encourage only people to do Good, to be Good and to act Good.
God is the creator of this world. He is our Father. Jesus Christ is his begotten Son. There should not be so many God in this world. Many people worship the ‘False God’. Saints are not God. The chinese worship Monkey King, and the others like Eight Immortals and so on, they are not God too. We can pray to Saints and the other dead person, but they are not God.
Anyone who want to find God must know that God is in their heart. They need to go ‘inside’ their heart to find God. God is always there in their heart. It takes a willing heart who desire to seek Him to know Him. God is a Holy Spirit of Love, Peace and Joy. To know Him, we must first have love too. Where there is love, there is acceptance and there is peace. Where there is peace, there is happiness and joy.
God is not in my heart or in your heart alone. It is in the heart of all people in this world that he had created. Just like a body who has a brain and all the nerves and blood vessels running round the whole body, God is able to ‘control’ and ‘know’ what everyone of us in the world are thinking and doing. Our heart is just the receptors in our body that connects us with God. Just like any nerve endings and neurons in our body, when you touches fire, your natural body response is to withdraw your hands from the source of heat. God knows what is right and wrong for you. God wants you to learn, just like any parents who love their child and want their child to learn. God loves His children, which is us. We might face problems and hardships in life. It is only through these that we learn and we appreciate life. It is only through experience and making mistakes that we learn. By listening and hearing, you might not appreciate the real nature of God. By experiencing the obstacles and difficulties in life, we would appreciate love and kindness around us. Through problems and crisis in life do we learn to deal with them and make ourselves stronger. When you are at odds end, when there is no one to trust and you do not know what to do, God is the one you can trust and you can pray for his help. God is your natural Father who is always there, at the cosmic ends, awaiting for you one day — at the day of our death, can we depart from our physical body to be united with Him in the Cosmic ends. Meanwhile, what is connected between the God from the cosmic ends to our physical body on earth is our heart. The ‘neurons’ and all the ‘nephrons’ we cannot see. However, it is there like the only brain that could control the functioning of our whole body.
God is omnipotent and omnipresent.
