I love optical illusion. Over the years, I have collected many pictures of optical illusion. I want to compile all my pictures of optical illusion into videos so that people can enjoy watching and at the same time listen to songs. I have done four videos so far and I think I would need to make another two or three to finish up all my pictures.

I have created special pages at my blogs on optical illusion. They are my collection of all the optical illusion pictures and information I had.

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, Greatest Asset of Life, I had mentioned that I am going to post about my view about optical illusion and I am going to do it now.

Optical illusion as the word shows is what your eyes can see. Optical Illusion can be so magical and amazing that not only are children amazed at it, adults like me also never ever feel bored about them. They captured our mind and it makes you think. Just like life, many things can be view from many direction. Depending on which direction are you looking at things, you have different views and different perceptions of matters. Sometimes, we are too engrossed with certain matter and we need other people to remind us of some danger or just need to heed their advice. Similarly, in viewing optical illusion, there are always hidden faces and hidden animals in the pictures. Sometimes no matter how hard we try, we cannot see all that are supposed to be seen. Sometimes we just need to have one more try after a break to be able to see them. At other time, we even need some other people to Show us the way. My children love optical illusion too. Sometimes I cannot find certain animals or faces and even other objects, and I just ask them. We share about what we see in the pictures. We talk about the pictures and when we are able to find the answers, we are so happy.

Optical Illusion is very interesting. It is like solving maths problems. I remembered during my younger days, whenever I am stuck with any maths questions, I had to take a break. There was no one in the house whom I could seek help. Surprisingly, many difficult maths problems are not too difficult afterall. Sometimes they just need you to do things in another manner. This is so with optical illusion. When you cannot see the things you want, you have to take a break. The next time you come back to see the pictures again, you will have different views and you can see something different.

Our life is also like optical illusion. At different stages of our life, we have different views and perceptions of things. We look at things differently over the years. That is growth and there is no right or wrong answers. No matter how you view them, there are always something which you see. You may choose to see an old woman but it can also be seen as a young lady. Young lady or old lady, they are all woman!

Still in this picture below, what do you see? A woman sitting in front of a dressing table? A skull? What can we learn from this picture? Perhaps beauty is deadly. It kills. Many TV shows had heros who fail in the hands of beauty. That is optical illusion. It is Maths, Psychology, Science, Philosophy and Arts, all in one. Isn’t it interesting?
