If you ask me for a testimonial about Lap Band or any other weight loss surgery, then I can tell you that you are going to be disappointed. I cannot give you any testimonial to any weight loss surgery. I am not overweight. My ‘fattest’ moment is during my pregnancies. Other than that, I am ‘more rounded’ during my puberty and study days, though I am never obese before or overweight at all.
However, that does not mean that I will not be overweight or be obese one day. It is always good to know more facts and things which are happening around us. Though weight loss is not an issue to me, I still constantly ‘upgrade’ my knowledge, improve my knowledge about weight loss. I can put on weight if I keep eating. The more you eat, the more weight you will gain if you do not expend more energy than you need. When you feel hungry, you eat. Why do you feel hungry? The stomach has nerve endings which can sense your stomach is empty or full. When empty, they will send message to the brain, telling you that you are hungry and you will want to eat. When you are full, similar things happen, but this time, the brain tells you to stop eating. One of the greatest reasons for weight gain is overeating. There are many ways of weight loss. You can take pills, exercise, go for liposuction, but now tackling directly at the stomach is Laparoscopic Band Surgery or Lap(Gastric) Band in short.
