My Mother’s Kitchen

By peace | October 15, 2007

Built-in ovens, microwave ovens, cooking hoods, cooktops or cooking stove are are essential cooking products for the home. My mother used to have a free standing range in the kitchen. Our kitchen was very small. There were hardly any room for built-in ovens or cooking hoods. Our kitchen had no built-in cabinets too. It was really a very simple kitchen where my mother could do her cooking and there were tables for her to do her cuttings and preparation of food.

My kitchen do not have built-in oven. I have gas cooktop only and no cooking hood. I do not like free standing range, unlike my mother. So you see different people have different preferences. When my mother’s free standing range was out of order, we went to shop for another new one again. If I remember clearly, she had changed a few free standing ranges after each of them was not working well. We used to go shopping for free standing range after that. There were not much varieties to choose from the stores that we went. However, I certainly know of a place where you can find lots of cooking products. Abt Electronics is an online provider of quality consumer electronics and appliances. I had browse through their products and indeed they have such a wide varieties of free standing ranges — both electrical and gas. If you do not like free standing ranges, like me, you can also look at stoves — both gas and electrical cooktops are available. AbtElectronics.com is a leading retailer of quality consumer electronics and appliances. Something really good about this store is they provide free shipping. My mother had to pay transportation charges for her free standing ranges that she bought from stores. At AbtElectronics, one can not only shop for cooking applicances or products, there are so many other things which you can shop for our home too.
