If you do not find peace in yourself, you will never find it anywhere else. ~ Paula A. Bendry
Finding Peace through Serenity
Serenity is a state of mind.
It is the calm, clear way in which we live, think and breathe. Serenity takes place in stillness. Quiet the noise in your mind to let serenity take its place in your heart.
In their desire to find serenity, some pray, meditate, chant or practice other rituals. The goal is to relax the mind, still the noise, and remove the clutter. Everyone is unique, different in lifestyle, tastes and desires. Find what is comfortable for you, what feels easy and natural.

Serenity is effortless. The more you try to find it, the more it eludes you. In your quest to find serenity and peace of mind, try taking some moments out of your busy schedule to be still, reflect, and be at one with nature and all that is the world around you. Give yourself the free space and time to discover how to relax your mind and ease your worries.
Remember that, at its core, serenity is a product of faith. Renew your faith in God and pray. Ask for help. Pray for guidance. Seek to live your life with a sense of balance in which you spend your energy on the important things. In so doing, you keep a steady pace and prevent one aspect of life from controlling the others. The language of serenity is prayer. As the Bible says,”Seek and you shall find.”
