A Beautiful Day

By peace | July 13, 2008

Yesterday we celebrate Christ who came to sow the seed of God’s word in the world, and today, I woke up to see the beautiful day in my children’s room. The clouds were so special today, and sky so blue so nice.

We went to church and then to Causeway Point. Here, I looked up the sky again and I was so amazed at the clouds. They were so wonderful so special. It really made the day so wonderful after what I had seen in the church.

This is a photograph of a butterfly I caught hold off. There were so many butterflies flying everywhere today. Some white, some yellow, some mixture of white and black, but mostly brown butterflies.

While waiting for the children, I explored the church. It was so amazing the ’spirits in the air’. All the insects, birds and plants seem to ‘rejoice’ indeed as Jesus came back in power. It is a special sensation at the church — in the church and around the vicinity, even though I could not see anything in the air, but there must be something in the air, which even the butterflies, birds, spiders and dog was ‘moved’ by it.

Some people said there is no creator in this world and that every life originate from evolution, explosion and various theories. I was not convince of a creator at first, but after all these miraculous wonders and sight, I am convinced and I can feel its wonder and its power. It is amazing how great ‘thou art really is!

I went to various church and I had ‘lessons’ with the Jehovah Witness, but I was not ‘converted’. I asked the Jehovah Witness about how “God has spoken to people”. They tried to convince me about the creator of this world. I could not be convinced. I went to their gathering at Malaysia, and still did not ‘feel’ anything about everything. Soon Aunty Mary gave up hope on me.

However, I found back where I belong; and I found the true creator. I experienced the worst and I am saved, saved by Jesus, the one who has victory over death, death has no power on him.

Yesterday the gospel talked about Jesus, a sower who went out to sow (Matthew 13:1-23). Jesus always teach using parables. At home, my bryophyllum plant grew miraculously overnight one day. More than two weeks now, the small ones (bryophyllum) were still very small, not able to catch up with the big ones. The big ones had not much changes. Before my ‘conversion’, I saw this 4 o’clock plant grew from my pot (I did not put in any seed, nor did I plant it myself — I used to plant 4 O’clock plants, but all died, and it was so long ago). This is not merely chance, it is the power of God, the creator of heaven and earth, to show me that nothing is impossible with him, Jesus Christ, our Lord, Our God, our Saviour.

One whole day, I saw so many beautiful things. The sky, the plants, the trees, the animals, the people, everything, everything I saw — tortoise, cats, dogs, on top of those mentioned above, really all is beauty and a masterpiece of God’s creation.
