23 March 2010 The Straits Times: Golfer finally answers questions about sex scandal in 2 interviews
23 March 2010 The Straits Times reported that Tiger Woods (photograph on the left) has finally admitted what the world had already knew: He is a fraud. The world’s Number 1 golfer acknowledged that the public image of a family man differed drastically with the private life of marital discord. “I was living a life of a lie, I really was,” the contrite Woods said. He finally answered questions about the sex scandal that sparked his downfall in two separate interviews… Tiger Woods divulged few details about the car crash, his marriage, his stint in a rehabilitation clinic or his personal life. He insisted those matters remain private.
“It was hurtful, but then again you know what, I did it. I’m the one who did those things and, looking back on it now with a more clear head, I get it. I can understand why people will say these things because you know what, it was disgusting behaviour. As a person, it’s hard to believe that was me, looking back on it now… It was all me. I’m the one who did it. I’m the one who acted the way I acted. No one knew what was going on when it was going on…”
He referred to his serial adultery by saying,”I tried to stop and I couldn’t stop. And it was just, it was horrific.” “I’m sure if more people would have known in my inner circle, they would have stopped it or tried to put a stop to it, but I kept it all to myself…. A lot of ugly things have happened. I’ve done some pretty bad things in my life.” he told ESPN.
This is a terrible thing to do. He has been lying to his dearest wife, lying to the one who sleep beside him everyday… “Those are the two people in my life that I’ve done, truthfully to them, is…honestly…was…very painful.” Facing his wife Elin and mother Kultida, to whom he had to admit his infidelity, was a particularly difficult task. For what he had done, Elin was hurt, shocked and angry.
In another similar case, Singapore film-maker, Jack Neo also had an extramarital affair. Jack Neo is known as Singapore’s Tiger Woods. Her wife appeared in the press conference and fainted. At first, it seems that Jack Neo had affair only with one woman. But later on, more women stood out — Foyce Le Xuan, Maelle Meurzec…
11 March 2010 The Straits Times: Madam Irene Kng (in this 1997 picture) says she and her husband, Jack Neo, are fine and she loves him like her fifth child.
Tiger Woods claimed to have seek treatment for his ‘addiction’. Many people are involved in drug addiction which ultimately destroyed their family (which the family is unaware of), career and life. Extramarital affair could just be one ‘side-effect’ of drug addiction. Drug addiction is the obsessive dependence on a legal or illegal drug. Some example of drugs include cocaine, heroin, crystal meth, marijuana, prescription painkillers or any other addictive substance. Satisfying the addict’s cravings is the addict’s utmost priority — even at the cost of losing all that was once important: job, home, friends, and family. The addict’s intense cravings drive him to resort to any means of obtaining the drug. Read about Drug Addiction Personal Story and Find Help to Drug Addiction at allaboutlifechallenges.org.
One lie leads to many lies. Drug addicts would not let their friends or family members know that they are taking drugs. They take drugs to ‘forget’ about their problems. They are just escaping from reality. They do not want to face their life problems. If found out earlier, these people should have Drug Treatment as soon as possible. Residential drug rehab or Drug rehabilitation helps drug addicts to gain back their normal life. Drug Treatment Center provide professional helps to the drug addicts as well as affected families that have been hurt by drug abuse.
