Acts of Inspiration
By peace | April 14, 2010
Photograph of this scene, sunrise (the dove, HOLY SPIRIT) taken on April’s fool day, 1st April 2010.
The Camera Matters
The first church warden said,”(Please) off your camera.” Next, another church warden came. “PLEASE OFF YOUR CAMERA!” This is the normal church warden which I normally see (the church warden seem to have their own ‘territory’). The first church warden I did not see her before. She was more like a student. The second one was a mature lady. I was not recording using the camera. I was capturing the lyrics on the projector screen. My camera was not making any sound. I was able to take photograph because Isaac was sleeping.
Who is disturbing WHO
Can you imagine, at the start of the church, singing entrance hymn, and I was INTERRUPTED by the church wardenS! They did not care if their voice would wake up my little Isaac. They did not even bother to see what I was capturing first before approaching me. I am not capturing PEOPLE, but WORDS. If I do not have Isaac now, I would probably be jotting down notes, writing down lyrics and words spoken from the Priest or Lector every now and then. But since I have Isaac, I am not able to do all these. The camera allows me to quickly take a snapshot of what is screen on the projector screen. It is fast and efficient. I do not have to waste my time copying (exactly the same thing). I did not on any sound and why am I disturbing people in such a sense like this?
Learn New Things, Advance Your Thinking, Advance Your Thoughts
This is a new era. The digital world. The way we do things are different now. And yet, this person, this church warden still said,”I bring your camera to the office huh!” OOOH!!! Is this call confiscate? The church warden want to confiscate my camera!!!!!
What Do You Know?
In school, we have children using handphones to study too. Even children are using internet as a learning tools. Camera prohibited from the church??? Why are there camera man around during special occasion? I know what I am doing, but you ought to think first before you approach a mother carrying a sleeping baby in church (it’s so hard to pacify a baby in the church, how nice my baby is sleeping and I can concentrate to listen to the word of God and you come to interrupt my Peace!)
Repay My Lord
What can I do for my Lord, the ONE who has rescued me. What can I do to save my People? I called the Priest, I called the Family Care Centre, and I went to the doctor; but no one come to my rescue. No one can save me. The priest never returned my call. The Family Care Centre is strictly by appointment. Who can save you during emergency? It’s MY LORD, MY GOD, JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD who SAVES ME.
How can I repay the Lord, My GOD?
For your information, it is this song lyrics I was taking: O Beauty, Ancient and New. It was sang as the entrance hymns for all the mass of Lents. As the song was sang, my brain just ‘flow’ with the meaning of the lyrics. It was such a meaningful song for me. One of the Lent, suddenly, I got ‘the urge’ to ‘tell’ about this song. It was not a one single mass project. In order to produce that video (O Beauty, Ancient and New) I have to spent time making the slides, converting the files and then compose the post. All these take up a lot of time. It is not a ‘playing’ business, but a serious business. Taking ‘pictures’ in the church is not ‘playing’ and I am WORKING, fulfilling the Lord’s will.

I had fear of the Lord (the thunders… the ‘voice’ of God). Yesterday, the thunder was so Loud and the impact so great that I could feel the kitchen floor tremble. I tell you, my legs really go all ’soft’, and I was so scared. I was posting about the Descent of the Holy Spirit then. One day ago, I was posting about the Acts of Inspiration. [...]
